Methodology note: Scores are derived only from CFTC Commitments of Traders futures positioning (public data, released Fridays for the prior Tuesday), fetched directly from the CFTC's own Socrata open-data API. They reflect what leveraged speculators are currently positioned for — a sentiment/positioning signal, not a price forecast, and not investment advice. Extreme one‑sided positioning can also precede reversals. USD is proxied via ICE USD Index futures; other majors via their CME FX futures. This dashboard refreshes automatically every Friday evening (with a Monday safety-net retry for holiday-delayed releases) once deployed with its backend running.
